Tra vino e natura: il viaggio di Maria Teresa Gasparet in Basilicata
MARIA TERESA GASPARET PREMIATA IN BASILICATA, un riconoscimento che profuma di territorio
Dal 30 ottobre al 1° novembre 2025, la sommelier Maria Teresa Gasparet, fondatrice di Sorsi e Percorsi, ha partecipato all’edizione speciale de La Notte Rosa del Vino, organizzata dalla Scuola Europea Sommelier.
L’iniziativa ha riunito dieci donne che, tra il 2020 e il 2025, hanno preso parte alle cinque edizioni dell’evento, portando esperienze diverse e un’unica passione: il vino.
Durante la cerimonia, Maria Teresa ha ricevuto per la seconda volta un riconoscimento ufficiale dalla Scuola Europea Sommelier (il primo nel 2023). La motivazione della targa consegnata a Rotonda recita:
“Con stima e riconoscenza per il suo esempio, la sua eleganza e la passione con cui celebra e valorizza il mondo del vino al femminile.”
Un premio che unisce competenza, stile e dedizione, valori che Maria Teresa porta in ogni attività di Sorsi e Percorsi.
Rotonda: un borgo che racconta la Basilicata
Il borgo di Rotonda, nel cuore del Parco Nazionale del Pollino, ci ha accolti con la sua pietra chiara e le vie silenziose.
Tra un vicolo e l’altro, il profumo del pane e la cordialità degli abitanti ci hanno fatto sentire a casa.
Durante la visita abbiamo scoperto le specialità del territorio, come la melanzana rossa IGP e il fagiolo bianco IGP, due prodotti che raccontano una terra fatta di pazienza e tradizione.
Passeggiando tra le botteghe, è facile capire quanto forte sia il legame tra gastronomia e identità locale.
Nel cuore del Pollino con la guida Pino
Accompagnati da Pino, guida naturalistica locale, abbiamo intrapreso una passeggiata dal Rifugio Fasanelli (1356 m s.l.m.) fino alla Terrazza del Malvento.
Il sentiero attraversa faggete secolari, dove la luce filtra tra i tronchi e l’aria profuma di terra bagnata.
Lungo il percorso abbiamo ammirato i maestosi pini loricati, alberi antichi che sfidano il vento e il tempo. Sono il simbolo stesso del Parco del Pollino, radici che resistono e rappresentano la forza della natura.
Un’altra passeggiata ci ha fatto conoscere la Cascata del Demonio, un luogo sospeso tra luce e vapore d’acqua. Qui, il fragore dell’acqua e il profumo del bosco si fondono in una melodia naturale. Un’esperienza che ha lasciato in tutti noi una sensazione di meraviglia e gratitudine.
Donne, vino e futuro: il valore dell’enoturismo
La tavola rotonda sull’enoturismo, organizzata durante la manifestazione, è stata un momento di confronto e crescita.
Le dieci protagoniste hanno condiviso esperienze e visioni sul futuro del turismo del vino.
Nel suo intervento, Maria Teresa ha sottolineato l’importanza di trasformare ogni degustazione in un racconto, unendo conoscenza e emozione. Ha ricordato che l’enoturismo non è solo visita, ma incontro tra persone e territori.
Le sue parole hanno trovato eco nel pubblico e nelle altre partecipanti: il vino è un linguaggio universale che unisce, educa e fa crescere.
Un messaggio che riflette la filosofia di Sorsi e Percorsi
La premiazione del 1° novembre ha concluso una tre giorni ricca di emozioni e di dialogo.
La targa consegnata a Maria Teresa non è solo un premio personale, ma anche il riconoscimento di un modo di vivere il vino autentico e consapevole.
Il vino, per Sorsi e Percorsi, è un mezzo di cultura, emozione e territorio.

Maria Teresa Gasparet honoured in Basilicata — a recognition inspired by territory
From 30 October to 1 November 2025, sommelier Maria Teresa Gasparet, founder of Sorsi e Percorsi, took part in the special edition of La Notte Rosa del Vino, organised by the European School of Sommelier.
The event gathered ten women in wine who, between 2020 and 2025, had taken part in the previous five editions, each bringing her own story and passion for wine.
During the ceremony, Maria Teresa received for the second time an official recognition from the European School of Sommelier — the first was awarded in 2023. The plaque presented in Rotonda reads:
“With esteem and gratitude for her example, her elegance and the passion with which she celebrates and enhances the world of wine through a feminine gaze.”
It is an award that blends skill, elegance, and dedication — values that Maria Teresa embodies in every activity of Sorsi e Percorsi.
Rotonda: a village that tells the story of Basilicata
The village of Rotonda, in the heart of the Pollino National Park, welcomed us with its pale stone houses and quiet lanes.
As we wandered through the alleys, the scent of freshly baked bread and the warmth of the locals made us feel at home.
During our visit, we discovered the area’s specialties — the Red Aubergine of Rotonda IGP and the White Bean of Rotonda IGP — both symbols of a land shaped by patience and tradition.
While walking among the small shops, it became clear how deeply gastronomy and identity are intertwined here.
Into the heart of Pollino with our guide Pino
Guided by Pino, a passionate local naturalist, we set out on a walk from Rifugio Fasanelli (1356 m a.s.l.) to the Terrazza del Malvento.
The trail winds through centuries-old beech forests, where sunlight filters through the branches and the air smells of earth and leaves.
Along the way, we admired the magnificent Bosnian pines (Pini Loricati) — ancient trees that defy wind and time. They are the true emblem of the Pollino National Park, roots that resist and tell stories of endurance.
Another walk led us to the Cascata del Demonio, a place suspended between light and mist. Here, the roar of water and the scent of the forest merge into a natural symphony.
It was a moment of pure wonder — an experience that left us all with a deep sense of gratitude and awe.
Women, wine and the future: the value of wine tourism
The round table on wine tourism, organised during the event, became a moment of exchange and growth.
The ten participants shared their experiences and visions for the future of wine hospitality.
In her speech, Maria Teresa highlighted the importance of turning every tasting into a story — one that blends knowledge and emotion. She reminded everyone that wine tourism is not just a visit, but a meeting point between people and territories.
Her words resonated with the audience and the other participants alike. After all, wine is a universal language — one that connects, teaches, and inspires growth.
A message that reflects the philosophy of Sorsi e Percorsi
The award ceremony on 1 November concluded three intense days of dialogue and emotion.
The plaque presented to Maria Teresa was not just a personal achievement but also recognition of a way of living and communicating wine — authentic and mindful.
